ChecKMate® Mating Disruption
the CheckMate
advantage…..Exclusive delivery systems take mating
disruption to a higher level.
The ability of pheromone control programs to target a specific
pest and protect pollinators and beneficial insects pays big
dividends. Like all pest control applications, however, mating
disruption requires proper timing, coverage and extended
control. These needs are being met by an exclusive
product line of CheckMate Puffer, flowable and dispenser
delivery systems.
*CheckMate Puffer.
This unique, state-of-the-art delivery system was introduced in
2006. A reusable “Puffer Cabinet” is equipped with
a computer and aerosol container that releases precise amounts
of pheromone on a set schedule. The aerosol container holds up
to a 200 day pheromone supply. One to two Puffers per acre does
the job for most pests. Click here (Puffer picture) for
ChekMate Puffer products and guidelines for maximum results. SEE VIDEO
*Flowable
Formulations. Convenient-to-use flowables can be applied
with conventional or low-volume spray rigs. They’re
compatible with pesticide or fertilizer tank mixes and stay in
suspension. Depending on weather conditions flowables are
effective for 21 to 30-days. Click here (Spraying picture) for
product information and application recommendations.
*Dispensers. This
controlled release technology made mating disruption a reliable
tool more than 20 years ago. A breathable membrane in a
CheckMate dispenser is regulated by heat units which drives the
pheromone release. As heat units increase dispensers
release more pheromones. Length of control depends on weather.
CheckMate dispensers provide 90 to 180 days of performance for
different pest species. Click here (Photo) for product
descriptions and application information.
